Betty Marie (Thumma) Miller of Newville, PA passed away Friday November 15, 2024.

    She was born June 9, 1937 to Abraham Otis and Lovina (Leer) Thumma. She married the late Roy Russell Miller on December 25, 1952.

    She is survived by 3 children; Cynthia of Bethlehem, PA, Teresa of Newville, PA, and Jerry of Enola, PA and 3 sisters Charlotte Dyer, Freda Franklin, and Mary Hornburger, four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by a son Charles Miller, and a daughter Linda Miller, four brothers Richard Thumma, Donald Thumma, Raymond Thumma, and Elwood Thumma and one sister Margaret Anderson.

    Betty was a member of the Stoughstown Mennonite Church. She will be greatly missed by her family, her church family, and many friends.

    A viewing will be held Thursday November 21, 2024 from 5 to 8 PM in the Stoughstown Mennonite Church 3715 Ritner Highway, Newville. A viewing will also be held Friday November 22, from 9 to 10 AM in the church. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Friday in the church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
