Beatrice M. (Gutshall) Miller

    Beatrice M. Miller, 89, of Newville passed away February 16, 2023 at Shippensburg Health Center.

    She was born in Newville on November 9, 1933, the daughter of the late Ralph Gutshall Sr. and Blanche Neidigh Gutshall. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Guy T. Miller.

She was a cook at Camp YoliJwa Church Camp. And was a member of the Christian Bible Fellowship Church in Newville.

    She is survived by two daughters Connie Rand and her husband William which whom she lived with, and Susan Geyer and her husband Rev. John; Grandchildren William Rand Jr. and Deanna, Amanda Barrick and Samuel, and Jonathan Geyer; and four great-grandchildren Steven Geyer, Clover, Lydia, and Gywnne Rand; and several nieces and nephews.

    In addition to her husband Guy, she was preceded in death by three brothers Eugene Gutshall, Ralph Gutshall Jr., and James Gutshall, and three sisters Alice Miller, Charlotte Miller, and Shirley Kyle.

    A visitation will be held Wednesday February 22, 2023 from 11 AM to 12 Noon in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service will be held at 12 PM in the funeral home with Rev. James Moats officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville.
