Barbara Jean Stouffer, 77, of Newville passed away Friday February 6, 2026 in WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.

   She was born March 15, 1948 in Elgin, IL a daughter of LaRoy H. and Leona M. Behrens Ross.

   In addition to her parents Barb is preceded in death by her husband Robert Stouffer Sr. who passed away November 2, 2021.

   Barb had worked at Newville Shoe, and had also worked 25 years at Green Ridge Village, in Newville.

   She is survived by one son Robert L Stouffer Jr. and his fiancée Leslie Bliss, one daughter Jennifer L Bauserman and her husband Donald Jr., two granddaughters Alexis Nicole Stouffer, and Bailey Marie Bauserman; three sisters Patricia Flory, Dianna Martin, and Elizabeth Kessler, and one brother James Ross.

   Barb is preceded in death by one sister Shirley Earles, and three brothers LaRoy Ross, Samuel Ross, and Thomas Ross.

   A visitation will be held Saturday February 14, 2026 from 10am - 12pm in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville.
