Barbara A. (Gutshall) Cline

    Barbara A. Cline, 83, of Newville passed away Thursday November 10, 2022 in her daughter's home. 

    She was born December 2, 1938 in Carlisle a daughter of the late Elwood R. and Edna Mary Chestnut Gutshall Sr. 

    Mrs. Cline had worked in Human Resources at General Castings. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, was a life member of FFA, and had volunteered for the Big Spring Area Food Bank. 

    Barb is survived by one daughter JoEllen Wiser, six grandchildren Jocelyn Hayslett and her husband Robbie, Alexis Cline, Dakota Foose and his wife Alexis, Garrett Cline, Natasha Goodhart and her husband Wyatt, and Zachary Wiser; seven great-grandchildren Evelyn, Kayden, Miles, Reed, Conner, Koleson, and Weston; 3 sisters Sandra Gutshall, Nena Chapman, Annette Gutshall, and one brother David Gutshall; and many nieces and nephews. 

    She was preceded in death by her son William T. Cline, one brother Elwood R. Gutshall Jr., one sister Margarette Gilliam, one nephew Ricky Gilliam, and a foster daughter Elizabeth Kirk.

    A visitation will be held Wednesday November 23, 2022 from 2 to 3 PM in Zion Lutheran Church 51 W. Main St. Newville. A memorial service with Rev. Michael Faust officiating will be held at 3 PM, in the church.
