Mervin J. Morrison, 86, of Newville died January 15, 2018 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born January 31, 1931 in Newville the son of the late George F. and Mary Kathryn Jackson Morrison.
Mr. Morrison is preceded in death by his wife Doris J. Baer Morrison.
He had served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired as President of Farmers National Bank, Newville after 39 years, and then continued as the Chairman of the Board.
He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, of Newville.
He is survived by three children Debora M. Morrison (Donald Orth), Steven A. Morrison (Gretchen), and Karen R. Lehman (Brian); three grandchildren Tyler T. Wonders, Morgan P. Wonders, and Grant D. Morrison (Katie); one great grandson Wesley James Morrison; and one sister Emma Jane Morrison.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren Brooke A. Wonders, and Derek A. Morrison; and two brothers Paul Jackson, and John Morrison.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
