Leta Fickes Obituary
Leta M. Fickes, 94, wife of the late D. Lee Fickes, passed away at her home on November 21. She was a lifelong resident of the Newville area.
She was the fourth of eight children born to George A. and Ruth A. (Fry) Ginter of McCrea and attended State Road School and Newville High School.
Mrs. Fickes is survived by a sister, Neva L. Barrick and three brothers, George F., Paul A., and Jay R. Ginter, and 21 nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were sisters, Janet E. Oiler, Dorothy B. Hoch, and R. Arlene Miller.
A graveside service in Newville Cemetery will be conducted by Pastor Edward Rosenberry on November 30 at 11 a.m.
