Helen Marie (Yocum) Highlands

    Helen Marie Highlands, 93, of Newville passed away Sunday January 20, 2019 in UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle.

    She was born October 6, 1925 in Cumberland County the daughter of Russel and Dorothy Mowery Yocum.

     Mrs. Highlands was the widow of Robert G. Highlands.

     She had attended Newville Firsth Church of God, and Green Spring First Church of God.

     She is survived by one daughter Dianna R. Owen and her husband Jay of Newville, one son Zane R. Highlands and wife Vicki of Carlisle, four grandchildren Heather Deutsch, Matthew Highlands, Amanda Lee, and Ashton Owen; three great grandchildren, and one sister Evelyn Holtry.

     She is preceded in death by two sisters Frances Hock, and Delores Jean Bailey, and one brother Robert Yocum.

     A graveside service will be held Friday January 25, 2019 at 2 PM in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 26, 2019 at 11 AM in the Green Spring First Church of God, Newville.
