Gary L. “Moose” Miller, 55, of Newville died Friday September 15, 2017 in the Hershey Medical Center.

      He was born July 13, 1962 in West Chester, PA the son of Spencer L.Miller Sr. of Carlisle and the late Ada G. Ross Miller.

    Gary had been employed as a retail manager for Sunoco, he was a member of the Big Spring Fish and Game, the American Legion and VFW all of Newville, and the Minaqua Club of Shippensburg.

    In addition to his father he is survived by thre sisters Nancy L. Raudabaugh and husband Jim of Newville, Sandy M. Rider and husband Scott of Newville, and Dawn M. Horner and husband Andy of Pasadena, MD, three brothers Ronald S. Miller and wife Linda of Coatesville, PA, Michael A. Miller and wife Kay of Carlisle, and Spencer L. Miller Jr. and wife Cheryl of Oakville, three nieces Courtney Rider,  Stacy Raudabaugh, and Chrissy Giovacc, and seven nephews Dylan and Wyatt Miller, Michael Miller, Jimmy, and Jeremy Raudabaugh, Andrew and Logan Horner; Great nephews Justin Bell, Nick Hayslett, Tyler and Ryan Long, Hunter, Dakota, and Jameson Raudabaugh, Great nieces Shannein Raudabaugh-Bell, Jasmine Wagner, and Emma Jean Raudabaugh, and Avery Leah Myers. Great nephew Cole Alan Bell, and Great Great niece Briella Wagner and a nephew dog Jackson Rider.

    He his preceded in death by two brothers Rickey L. Miller and Randy Miller, one niece Rebecca Horner and a nephew dog Bull Rider.

    A viewing will be held Sunday September 24, 2017 from 2 to 3 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 3 PM.
