Beatrice R. Frantz, 97, of Newville and formerly of East Berlin, PA died Tuesday February 28, 2017 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
She was born December 18, 1919 in Nashville PA the daughter of Harvey H. and Alice Swenly Mummert.
She was preceded in death by two husbands Luther H. Jacobs, and Thomas H. Frantz; three brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Frantz is survived by nieces and nephews, and one sister-in-law.
She had worked as a seamstress, and also worked at Doubleday Books. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in East Berlin, and attended First United Presbyterian Church in Newville.
A graveside service will be held Saturday March 4, 2017 at 10:30 AM in the East Berlin Union Cemetery, with the Rev. Peter Gregory officiating.
A memorial service will be held Saturday March 18, at 10:30 AM in Thrush Chapel Swaim Health Center, Newville with the Rev. Barbara Albert and Rev. Vernon Gauthier officiating.
