Peggy K. (Keck) Bloser

    Peggy K. Bloser, 78, of Newville passed away Thursday March 28, 2024 in UPMC West Shore.

    She was born November 30, 1945 in Carlisle a daughter of the late Mervin I. and Bessie Russell Keck Sr.

    Mrs. Bloser was a member of Center Lutheran Church, Newville, and had worked in the bakery at Saylors Market, Newville.

    She is survived by her husband Wilmer S. Bloser Jr., two children Wesley Bloser of Newville, and Wendy L. Ott and her husband Calvin of Shippensburg, two grandchildren Cody Bloser and Colton Bloser; two great grandchildren Tripp Bloser, and Sutton Bloser; one brother Richard Keck of Carlisle, and three sisters Eleanor Karper of Carlisle, Barbara Sengbusch of Florida, and Helen Speed of Florida.

    Peggy was preceded in death by two sisters Katherine Smyser and Doris Smyser, and one brother Merivn I. Keck Jr.

    A visitation will be held Thursday April 4, 2024 from 5:30 to 7 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A memorial service will be held at 7 PM in the funeral home.
