Ruth Emma Krout Miller, 89, of Lansdale died Thursday Ocotober 5, 2017 in the Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.

She was born September 20, 1928in Warrington Twp. The daughter of Leidy and Emma Nuss Krout.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband Carl Edmont Miller.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale, and the Sunshine Women's Circle in the church. She was a den mother, volunteered to help with PTO events, belonged to the Indian Valley camping club, and was a member of a card club with some of her dearest friends.

She is survived by four sons David C. Miller and his wife Laura of Lansdale, Glenn A. Miller and wife Diane of Telford, Jeffrey L. Miller and wife Beverly of Youngsville, NC, and Ronald K. Miller and wife Kelly of Souderton; one brother Clinton J. Krout; seven grandchildren Sean Miller, Audra Mitchell, George (Gus) Mitchell, Cherrie Miller, Timothy Miller, Nicholas Miller, and Sabrina Miller; three great grandchildren Louis Miller, Violet Young, and Ava Miller.

She is preceded in death by one granddaughter Justine Miller, one daughter-in-law Patricia Miller and eleven brothers and sisters Charles F. Krout, Wilbet L.Krout, John L. Krout, Helen A. Prentice, Alfred L. Krout, Frances N. Krout, Herbert W. Krout, Raymond R. Krout, Leidy N. Krout, Mary Krout, and Eleanor Krout.

A memorial service will be held Thursday October 12, 2017 at 11 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church Landsdale. A visititation will be held in the church from 10 to 11 AM Thursday.
