Patricia L. Varano of Newville passed quietly in her sleep the morning of August 26th.  Patricia was a loving mother and wife, a proud grandmother, and great grandmother.  Her job as a cashier at Giant Foods and Saylor’s Market brought so much joy to her life as she enjoyed taking care of her customers, and everyone knew “Pat” for her friendly and upbeat personality.  She had great compassion for animals and loved caring for her rescued cats.  She gave her family so much, and always provided unconditional love and strength.  Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Charles, and is survived by her daughter and son in law and grandchildren who were privileged to know her grace.
