Ila Porter Merriam, 100, of Newville died Sunday June 4, 2017 in Green Ridge Village Newville.

    She was born January 14, 1917 in Burchard, Nebraska.

    Mrs. Merriam is preceded in death by her husband Rev. William H. Merriam Jr.

    She had worked as a Librarian, and a teacher.

    Mrs. Merriam had three children William H. Merriam, Robinetta Merriam Goald, and Abigail Merriam Selinsky.

     All services will be private and at the the convenience of the family.
