Gerald R. Kelley, 76, of Newville died Sunday June 26, 2016 in the Shippensburg Health Center.
He was born April 6, 1940 in Harrisburg the son of Herman and Pearl Stine Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his wife Florence Boneda “Bonnie” Moffitt Kelley.
He had retired from Amp Inc. where he had been a Dye Repairman. He had attended the Newville First Church of God, and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by one son Jerry Kelley, and his wife Debra, two grandchildren Alison Mellot and her husband Jayson, and Ryan Kelley and his wife Sara; four great grandchildren Liam, Alia, Leira, and Elliott; and one sister Doris Kelley.
He is preceded in death by five brothers Sammy, John, Leroy, Walter, and Jerry; and two sisters Flossie, and Thelma.
A viewing will be held Friday July 1, 2016 from 10 to 11 AM in the Newville First Church of God. A funeral service will be held in the church at 11 AM Friday. Burial will follow in the Cleversburg Cemetery.
