Donald L. Mixell Sr., 67, of Carlisle and formerly of Newville died Friday December 29, 2017 in his home.
He was born February 5, 1950 in Carlisle the son of the late Merle E. and Dorothy M. Long Mixell Sr.
He is preceded in death by his wife Deborah May Mower Rigler.
He had worked as a truck driver for John F. Walter Trucking, Newville.
He belonged to Carlisle Eagles Aerie 1299, he was a former member of the American Legion Post 101 of Carlise, and the Big Spring Fish and Game.
He is survived by one son Donald L. Mixell Jr., and his wife Rebecca, one daughter Barbara A. Fenicle; one brother Merle e. Mixell Jr.; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his sister Janet M. Darr.
A Memorial service will be held Tuesday January 2, 2018 at 2 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 Big Spring Ave. Newville.
