Betty L. Fraker, 88, formerly of South Fairview died Thursday November 3, 2016 in Forest Park Health Center.

She was born March 11, 1928 in Franklin County to the late Paul and Hazel Butts Jumper.

She was the widow of Robert E. Fraker.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Fraker Adams of Carlisle and Linda Fraker Markley and her husband Bob of Newville. She is also survived by two granddaughters Megan Anderson (Scott) of Newville and Heather Bear (Jay) of Carlisle. Also surviving are four great grandchildren Leah and Allison Bear, of Carlisle and Collin and Aidan Anderson of Newville; and one brother Ronald L. Jumper, of Carlisle. She also leaves behind her dear friend, sister and neighbor Joyce Lopp.

Predeceasing her was her sister Dorothy Jumper Reid and her son-in-law Carl E. Adams.

Betty attended Doubling Gap Church of God. She was a life member of Penn Township's Ladies Auxiliary. She loved and worshiped her family.

A funeral service with Pastor Donald Snyder officiating will be held at 11 AM Tuesday November 8, 2016 in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A visitation will be held in the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday. Burial will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens Carlisle.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Doubling Gap Church of God, Forest Park Nursing home, or Homeland Hospice.
