Albert Seldon Stouffer, 74, of Newville died Friday June 23, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family.

He was born October 26, 1942 in Carlisle the son of the late William Max and Esther Burkett Stouffer Sr.

He had served in the U. S. Army. Had worked for Cloverdale bottling, U-Wanna-Wash-Frocks, both of Newville, and Rowe's Print Shop in Carlisle.

Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years Betty J. Negley Stouffer, two sons Matthew D. Stouffer and his fiancee Amy, of Shippensburg, and Nathan Wade Stouffer and his wife Megan of Newville, three grandchildren Tyler Hoover, Allison Stouffer, and Ian Stouffer; three sisters Joyce A. Stouffer, Beverly S. Duncan, and Sandra K. Lloyd, five brothers Ronald M. Stouffer, Robert L. Stouffer, William M. Stouffer Jr., Eddie E. Stouffer, and Gerhart “Jerry” Stouffer.

A visitation will be held Thursday June 29, 2017 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Lisa Klinger officiating.
